Origins of Twin City Collision Repair

Lifelong residents of Indiana, Mike and Patsy moved to Lafayette in 1977 while Mike was attending Purdue University. Though majoring in Ag Economics, Mike's real interest was in cars. After Purdue he took a job with one of the local car dealerships in their body shop and was soon promoted to manager and then to Collision Repair Director at one of the largest car dealerships in the Midwest. However, it wasn't long until it was time for a new challenge.

In 1992 Mike, Patsy and their two sons, Zach, age 7 and Nick, age 2, started Twin City Collision Repair, Inc. It was a humble beginning in a 4,800 square foot rented building and a staff of three, one of them being Mike. Production began in June and they turned a profit the first month and the business began to grow.

Our Process

Farabee Drive

In 1993 additional space was leased and a year later land was purchased for construction of a new facility at 600 Farabee Drive. The building was designed and construction began in January 1995. Twin City Collision moved to the new facility at 600 Farabee Drive on July 4th 1995, only three years after beginning operations. Over the years many people joined the Twin City Collision family and with the emphasis placed on quality repairs and outstanding customer service, the company continued to grow with annual sales exceeding their ten year business plan in only the fourth year of operation.

Veterans Memorial Parkway

In 1998 land was purchased on County Road 350 South, now Veterans Memorial Parkway, on Lafayette’s south side for the purpose of additional expansion in Tippecanoe County. After extensive planning they broke ground on their new facility in the fall of 2000 and began operations at the new facility in May of 2001.

The South Lafayette store boasts over 15,500 square feet of space, the latest, most state-of-the-art equipment and most experienced and highly trained staff in the area, all dedicated to meeting and exceeding the needs of repairing today's hi-tech vehicles

"Swing For a Cure" 11th Annual

Twin City Collision and Indy Collision Center would like to announce that we will be, again, hosting our "Swing for a Cure 11th Annual Classic" Friday, June 12th.  Last year we raised over $28,000+ and went well over our goal the year before.  This year, lets see if we can do that again! Our goal this year is $30,000. The proceeds go to help with breast exams and mammogram with the YMCA Women's Cancer Program here in Lafayette, Indiana.

We've had a lot of fun with it over the years and a lot has changed.  The event has grown many times as we've added sponsor's, contests, prizes, food and drink vendors...and this year's event promises to be the best yet.

Be sure to save the date for Friday June 12th at Coyote Crossing Country Club.  There are still sponsorship opportunities available too!

Thank you all for you support and we look forward to seeing you there!!
